A friend of mine Peter Furstenberg did these Tilt Shifts in Johannesburg CBD and they turned out awesome! Enjoy the vids and check out his Youtube Channel for some of the other rad stuff the lad can do!
Benjamin Jenks went after his dream of hitchhiking across the USA and realized not only would he be safe… he would have the time of his life.
Interesting question once you see the argument.
Fanatasic and it just shows how YouTube is going to take over the world! Along with the help of twitter and Google of course! Enjoy the films I did.
Found this vid on a Blog by Andrew Gill. Fantastic slomos of some big ass wave. Man it makes me miss the sea!
These guys managed to get the GoPro camera into outer space! Mad props. Love the fact that pretty much anyone can make cool stuff with low budget gear now days. The shot was used in a music video for a band called Lucky Elephant which is also pretty cool.
This is the raw footage from the [...]
Found this vid through a Blog post that i follow religiously. The VFX are off the chart. Enjoy!
Guys are getting more and more inventive when it comes to ways of mounting this little camera. This is just insane!
My mate Mike Walker has had a GoPro for a while now and we have been threatening to fly with it strapped to the UAV for ages. We managed to get the GoPro attached to the camera mount, but that was about it. So the pics below are all screen grabs from the 1080p 25 [...]
The edit is great the sound track is great and I enjoyed every five min fourteen of this edit! Plus it doesn’t hurt that it was shot on the Canon 5d.
Enjoy peeps.

This is great. A Rube Goldberg Machine made out of Photography stuff. Really like the tribute to the “OK Go” music video in the middle. Apparently it took 98 attempts before getting it right. So enjoy this incredibly complicated way of taking a photo!
Here is the “OK Go” music video if you haven’t seen it.
While uploading a video to Youtube, this caught my eye in the side bar. Awesomely simple, as well as stunningly beautiful! Also it was shot on the Canon 550D, which is pretty cool.
I love the fact that this short was shot with just a GoPro HD. Basically an auto focus camera with a water housing. Love the GoPros!

I can spend days upon days watching time lapses and this is a great one that @Sospix posted a link about. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This is insane, what next from the DSLR kingdom. Watch….Enjoy….and be Amazed! Oh and do yourself a favour and watch it in HD.
Wow this is a great looking little camera. My imagination is going wild with the possibilities of a cam like this….
Sony Professional – HXR-NX70E [English text] from Sony Professional on Vimeo.
Sony Professional’s brand new HXR-NX70E, the first rain and dust proof camera, designed to stand up to even the most inhospitable environments.
Found this post on Cheesy Cam, a website that if you are into DSLR video is definitely worth visiting on a regular basis.
Trimmed, ripped and maximised blockbuster incarnation of Flames. With no expense spared and with a no limit man-hour approach, Johansson makes Tony Scott’s latest look like a Dogma movie. This is the antithesis [...]
Those of you that know me personally will know that I’m an absolute golf nut! Even a bad day on the golf course is better that a good day in the office in my opinion. I spend a large amount of my time editing golf highlights at SuperSport. So when a mate [...]
A mate of mine, Mike Walker has a GoPro, and we regularly trash ourselves attempting to get the shot. Not so long ago Mike climbed a tree (unintentionally) after descending a hill on a mountain bike a little to quickly. Anyway enjoy the video of Mike seeing his ass and then watch the guys who [...]
A mate of mine @CalvinHarris, sent me this via email, and I had to share it with you. It’s not all the films of 2010, but it is a fair couple and it’s just beautifully put together. Great editing and music, mad props Genrocks
This is what Genrocks had to say:
This year’s movies have [...]
I am a huge “House MD” fan and while I was in my car the other day, listening to 5fm, they did “Old School, New School” with the theme song to the House MD tv series. The song is Teardrops by Massive Attack and to put it into perspective as to how much [...]
Once again whilst stumbling around Vimeo Staff picks, found this really great Stop Motion Movie.
There is not much to say about this clip, other than watch and enjoy. I did! Tom you are a master at time lapse! Timescapes
This is production footage I shot over the summer for my debut film, “TimeScapes,” a modern portrait of the American Southwest. I used Canon and Red MX cameras.

The Boys and I went down to Newcastle for the annual Newcastle golf day, and this is the B&B that we stayed in. The morning of the golf the weather was perfect for a little flying so out came the heli and up went the camera. Willie whipped out his Canon 550D and shot a [...]
I met Peter while working on Popstars South Africa….. and once the show ended, as with most freelancers we were off to go and find the next pay day. This is my little bit to help out the guys from the show. Enjoy Peter’s showreel. I’m sure he has some more cool stuff on [...]
I tweeted this a while back, @ironbirdmedia. but I was going through my “Likes” on Vimeo and watched it again, cause it’s just so cool. Apparently the budget was US$1000 000. Either way its a great watch.
This 90 second commercial was mainly shot on the Canon 7D.
Great place to find internet video gems is the Vimeo staff picks. The thing that I enjoy about this movie is that it was shot on the same Canon camera that I own. Simple gear, and a great little chase sequence and good editing.

Got a Intervalometer yesterday. So as soon as it arrived I ripped open the box and popped outside to shoot my first time lapse with my Canon 550D. Worked well until the battery ran out. But I think I need to mess around with the settings a bit more to get it perfect.
The Clouds from [...]
